Jeff has worked as an editor for over a decade, garnering a number of awards for his work including: ONE club Denver gold, Graphis Gold, and Denver Fifty. He is currently finishing a feature documentary for release in 2022 that he has been co-editing.

He has a knack for editing clever, comedic pieces with building humor, as well as longer, serious anthemic pieces with relatable layered messages. Jeff also has a soft spot for well-conceived documentary shorts about individuals and subcultures. He likes to leave some discovery to the viewer in his storytelling, steering his work away from “see-say” and allowing visuals and story to allow people to uncover the meaning for themselves.

Jeff has also been coloring in Resolve for over 6 years. He enjoys using color to build a visual mood that creates an invisible pull for the viewer. He believes the tools of finishing can often help productions overcome visual shortcomings and punch well above their weight in the final product.

Jeff is a fourth generation Coloradan who enjoys chess, world travel, and a good backpacking adventure. He’s an also intermediate juggler, an armchair philosopher, and a reluctant gardener.
