about

Director/Editor

Max has spent the last decade experimenting with different genres and filmmaking techniques, to develop a unique cinematic style that strives to evoke an emotional response above all else.

His career began in New York where he made a name for himself and his production company, BBGUN, crafting promos for some of the biggest names in hip hop. His frequent collaborations with J. Cole and Kid Cudi made way for opportunities to work with superstars in other genres, including Enrique Iglesias, Usher, and Swedish House Mafia.

The breadth of Max’s work is far reaching. With a handful of screenplays under his belt, Max is currently focused on developing a South East Asian crime thriller, The Tailor. He’s dipped into the world of episodic TV, editing HBO’s The Shop with Lebron James. And done work in partnership with Uninterrupted/Spring Hill for the Black Lives Matter movement and their campaign, “More Than A Vote.”

Max lives in West Hollywood where his portfolio of commercial clients continues to grow. Among them are: Nike, LG, Tissot, Morgan Stanley, Converse, SoundCloud, Alcatel, Sony, Bally Swiss, and Jordan Brand.
